Saturday of the Twenty-seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Today's Mass Readings

Today on this Marian Saturday, we hear someone shout out, “Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed.’ Jesus replied, ‘Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.’ Jesus is using his own mother’s fiat as an example for us and we should imitate it! Yesterday’s feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, or Victory, was a powerful one for me. I had to use as an example of faith Our Lady’s fiat to secure a little victory, and I got it with God’s strength.

If you have God’s strength within you, use also Mary’s fiat and be bold about it, so that, like the apostles, you can spread the Good News all over the world.
