Friday of the Twenty-Ninth Week in Ordinary Time
In our Alleluia verse today, we hear, “Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth;
you have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the Kingdom.” I remember being home in Kansas City and going to Mass with my family. After Mass, my nephew Bennett said to me “Br. Max, let’s go to adoration!” We have an adoration chapel at our parish so both of my nephews, Bennet, Henry and I went to adoration. I couldn’t help to think what God the Father was telling these two precious children at ages 5 and 3. But that is not for me to guess because that is between Him and those two boys. Let us be like little children so that we may know more the mysteries of heaven.
