Friday of the Fifth Week of Lent
Things are starting to get rough for Jesus. The Jews want to stone him because he is claiming himself to be like God, but they are blind and only worried about themselves! The healings that Jesus has performed physically, spiritually, and yes even mentally, is something that they can’t comprehend. People hate change, and if the Jews see these good works, then that means they would have to change. They would rather stay comfortable than get out of their comfort zone and accept what Jesus, who is Lord, has to say. Is there a way you can get out of your comfort zone? Maybe say a rosary in public, wear a cross or crucifix or miraculous medal to show your Catholic identity? If you don’t have a miraculous medal, I can send you one. Be a light to the world, and as I said a couple of days ago, have the light of Christ with you.
