Friday of the Sixth Week of Easter

Today's Mass Readings

“One night while Paul was in Corinth, the Lord said to him in a vision, ‘Do not be afraid. Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you. No one will attack and harm you, for I have many people in this city.’ He settled there for a year and a half and taught the word of God among them.”

I have a first-class relic of St. Faustina, and recently, I lost it! It was night before I noticed that I misplaced my dear St. Faustina! I looked everywhere in my room. I thought to myself, “Alright I am not going to panic, I am going to ask some prayer warriors that I know to help me find it through prayer and I will start looking tomorrow morning.” When my alarm went off the next day I was still in a fog, but I heard a voice in my heart that was clear as if I was talking to a friend. “Look in your shoe.” At first, I thought I was going crazy, but I checked my shoe, and there she was! In my shoe…How she got there, only God knows. Like Paul, choosing not to panic or be afraid, and rather trusting in the Lord, all came out well!

I hope you have your own prayer warriors on your side—your parish community, family or friends. Be not afraid to ask for prayer and for help because it shows humility, and the devil runs from humility.
