For Sophia,
I experienced something I never had in my almost eight decades.
The officiant, Father Higgins, following the closing prayers at the end of the Mass called a young lady, I guess about 9-10 years old and her family forward.
Father Higgins:
baptized Sophia,
confirmed Sophia,
gave Sophia First Holy Communion and
finally administered "Anointing of the Sick” to Sophia.
I gave the family one of the bottles of Holy Water I collected during my Rome Basilica Holy Door pilgrimage last November including sacred water from Lourdes.
What I heard in side conversations Sophia is fighting leukemia. There was noticeable hair loss on her scalp.

I want to thank everyone who has prayed for me. My quarterly appointment and scans showed no signs of cancer. I will continue to have issues with dry mouth. Please continue to pray that the dry mouth symptoms will lessen. May God bless you!

Please continue to pray for my husband, Larry Epps. He went to rehab and had problems with his heart. He has sick sinus syndrome. He had surgery Saturday for a pacemaker. The drs. Are trying to control his heart rate with medication first. There is some discussion that he may need a defibrillator too but he has had so many procedures already.
He needs to go back to rehab when it is safe for him.
He hasn’t had a drink for several days now. His problems stem from that. He also has stage 4 kidney disease.

Please pray for my husband, Larry Epps., He had a TAVR procedure on Wednesday. On Thursday he was released from the hospital and went home. Two hours later he had a seizure and I called 911.
He had two small strokes also. He was in ICU for three days . He is now on the floor where stroke patients are recovering.
He will go to rehab after this to get stronger.
He has been evaluated to need cognitive, balance and strength recovery.
