In August 2024 I had surgery for tongue cancer, but did not need treatments. This month a new lesion appeared on my tongue. It is moderate dysplasia and I need additional surgery.
Yesterday I went for a routine colonoscopy and I’m waiting for the results of the biopsy.
Praying that I can stay cancer free.

Dear Conception Abbey friends,
Requesting prayers for Daun, a middle aged lady who was in a horrible head on collision on Sunday. Daun has numerous broken bones and is having surgeries to save her organs.
Prayers for Earl, my brother with dizzy spells, COPD, insomnia and high blood pressure. God bless his close friend Ron, who helps him daily.
Prayers for my sister Mary in Okla. She was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. Her husband is in a care facility for Alhemers.
Also prayers for me. A few weeks ago I had a very bad fall and fractured my left wrist. I am experiencing pain off and on and in much discomfort. I will have a cast for 3+ weeks. I'm learning what being still truly means.
You are in my prayers always. Thank you very much!!

I ask for prayers for Oblate Regis Lopata of Larned, Kansas. He was taken via helicopter to a Wichita hospital yesterday (18th) for an apparent stroke.

Please pray for my neighbor, John. He had stroke yesterday and is in the hospital in Columbia, Mo. He and his wife were very kind to me when Larry was in the hospital.

Please continue to pray for my husband, Larry. He goes back to the vascular surgeon tomorrow for his arm. He had surgery August 13th to create a fistula for access to clean his blood during dialysis. He is depressed because his arm is really swollen.
Today is our 24th anniversary too.

*Dear Kind Souls, Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!* Please allow me to write to you with a broken but still hopeful heart. You may not know our names, but our pain is as vast as the sky. We are a family who has been living in suffering for a lifetime. We have no home where we can lay our heads. Our bodies are sick, our pockets are empty, and our hearts are tired from so much disappointment. The family ties that should hold us together have all been broken, and now we all cry alone in our own silence. We can no longer do anything else but fall to our knees and beg. Not for money, not for gold – we are only begging for a prayer. I ask you, dear Brothers and Sisters, to give us just one Our Father, just one prayer. Please pray for the little boy, who is now a grown man, but life has broken him: *KAKÓCZ PÉTER – 12.05.1987.* That he may find his path, health, and peace. Please pray for the Mother, who gave her life for us: *ÁRVAI TÜNDE – 12.25.1964.* That her body and soul may be healed, and she may never have to cry again. Please pray for the Father: *KAKÓCZ GABÓR – 04.21.1950.* That the Lord may lift the burdens from him and give him peace in his old age. And pray for us, that our family may become a family again. That love may replace hatred, healing may replace sickness, and a warm home may replace homelessness. I believe that if many people speak our names before God at the same time, He will hear us. Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for not leaving us alone in the dark. May God repay your kindness a thousandfold!
