I lift up intentions that the Lord will watch over my entire family and keep everyone safe and no long lasting effects as a family member battles their demons. Please bring hope and joy back to the family Lord. Give us strength and council as well.

For the mothers, children and staff at Susannah's House who are working together to rebuild lives and families ravaged by addiction, we pray to the Lord. Please pray especially for the women struggling with housing and legal issues as they try to remain clean and sober and be good mothers to their children. We pray for God's intervention in these lives.

For the soul of Phyllis Hay, who passed away on Monday, October 11. She was 93, and it was only in the last week or so of her life that we found out she had cancer. I had the privilege of caring for her for a year. Her passing saddened me deeply. But I am glad she is no longer suffering in constant pain. May the Lord show her great kindness and mercy! Amen.
