RIP for two childhood friends. One was a nurse and friend of our parents and mother of classmates; the other was a neighborhood friend and older classmate, the Father of one of the Conception monks.
Prayers for dear friends and family that are enduring chronic illnesses; especially those suffering from the effects of the Covid-19 worldwide.
Please pray for my husband and I who are high-risk during this pandemic, keep our children and grandchildren safe too.

Please pray for our daughter in law, Jody, as she waits for decisions on treatment concerning her thyroid cancer diagnosis. She will be going through radioactive iodine treatment soon and will have to isolate away from everyone including her two small children. The cancer has spread but we don’t know just how far at this point. It is highly treatable. Thank you

Please pray that my daughter Ellen, that she will get a suitable house to rent, the house she is renting at present, the owner needs it for her own use, Ellen has a son and two foster children, so it is a big worry for her.
Please pray for my brother Father Joe O'Brien a retired catholic priest suffering from Alzheimer's and depression.
Please pray for a special intention of my own, that it will be granted by God.

Please pray for the weakening of hurricane Delta. We have not yet recovered from hurricane Laura in southwest La. There are still people without electricity, people who are unable to live in their homes because of storm damage, people who haven't been able to return to the area because they have no home to come back to! The majority of the businesses are still closed and there is still debris piled high that needs to be picked up. We have made progress since hurricane Laura but still have a long way to go, another hurricane would make the recovery much harder! Please pray for us, thank you!!

Please pray for Rick and Teresa Simpson who are hospitalized with COVID-19. They are both high-risk and are on oxygen. Also, please pray for the residents of Sioux County in northwest Iowa. This county has the highest positivity in Iowa, but they refuse to require masks in schools or to move to online education for two weeks to stop the transmission of COVID-19. Please pray that they will accept science and make some changes before a student or a teacher dies.
