Please pray for me and all the other second-year Souljourners who are having a discernment "retreat" this morning from 10 to 12 via ZOOM.
Please pray for all those involved in the Souljourners spiritual direction formation program sponsored by the sisters at the Monastery of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. We would love to be back on the Mount campus but because of the coronavirus, all our programs have switched to ZOOM.

Please pray for my third brother Terence, who is disabled and mentally ill and currently a resident at a care center in Elgin, IL. He was hit by a speeding car when he was 16 and severely injured, losing use of his legs, his dominant hand, and suffering traumatic brain injury. After years of expressing rage and anger, he is finally calm and gentle. He is bedridden, incontinent, and relies on someone else to feed him very small bites of food so that he doesn't choke because of damage to his swallowing mechanism when he had a tracheotomy shortly after the accident. He likes Harley-Davidson motorcycles, the space program, and his family. A brother lives just 20 minutes away from him but is unable to visit since the rehab facility is in "lockdown" because of the coronavirus. His only contact with the outside world is through my letters. He also suffers COPD and cannot speak above a whisper.
Your praying for him would be a great kindness! Thank you! Jean L.
