Saturday of the First Week of Lent

Today's Mass Readings

“So be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.” This is probably the hardest thing to do. I am reminded of what St. Maximilian Kolbe says, “Entrust all matters to [the Immaculata] and she shall deign to take care of them. In her loving, immaculate hands, victory is certain.” Even though it is Lent, Saturdays are still devoted to our Lady, our Mother. The Blessed Mother, who is even the Queen of God’s heart, will help us to be perfect as Our Lord is perfect. It is in our weakness that we are perfect because that is when we rely more on the Lord than ourselves.

Is there a way that you can become perfect in your weakness and step out of your comfort zone? Know of my prayers for all of you during this holy season, please keep me in yours. +
