Tuesday of the Twenty-third Week in Ordinary Time

Today's Mass Readings

There are two points that stick out for me today. One is the responsorial psalm verse, “The Lord takes delight in his People,” and our Alleluia verse, “I chose you from the world, that you may go and bear fruit that will last, says the Lord.” The Lord takes delight in us because we are His children. Though we are fallen, He loves us no matter what we have done or will do, and He chose us to go out and bear fruit just like how he chose His disciples. He knew that the disciples were sinners and not perfect people, but He still chose them just as he chooses us in our state of life. Let us go out and bear fruit for Him!
