Wednesday of the Fifth Week of Easter

Today's Mass Readings

“Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.” We are the branches for the Lord, and the Lord is the vine, and it bears fruit! It is like what I said on Monday, we need to be humble. We are only branches, and as the Lord says at the beginning of this gospel, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit.”

I encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and do something radical! Maybe it is something as simple as praying for an enemy or something big like helping those in need. But always remember God does not look for mighty deeds but looks in the heart and sees the simplicity and the action that can speak louder than words.
